DAY: WELCOME TO COSTA RICA
Pick up at the Juan Santamaría
International Airport. Transfer to a selected hotel in
San José and lodging.
2nd
DAY:
A DAY IN SAN JOSÉ
Lodging at a selected hotel in
San José.
Optional: guided tour to Poás Volcano.
An active volcano located on the Central
Mountain Chain of the country, one of the biggest craters in the
world. Visit to Sarchí, the handicraft capital of the country. Lunch
and return to San José.
3rd DAY: TORTUGUERO JUNGLE
ADVENTURE: Departure from San José, a guided tour through the most
beautiful natural scenery on the planet, crossing the Tortuguero
National Park. You will admire the diversity of flora and fauna in
its natural habitat in the tropical humid rain forest. Traveling
through rivers and canals in the Tortuguero National Park, where it
is possible to see monkeys, birds, exuberant vegetation and much
more in an incomparable ecological environment. Lodging at
Ilán-Ilán Hotel in Tortuguero.
The
tour includes lodging, 8 meals and an extensive program of
activities in the area.
4th DAY:
TORTUGUERO CANALS: A
complete program of activities: walking through the Botanical Garden
of the hotel, hiking up the Tortuguero mountain, visit to the
village, special activity:
"Let's plant a tree for Costa
Rica".
5th DAY: TORTUGUERO - SOUTH CARIBBEAN
COAST:
Departure from Ilán
- Ilán Hotel traveling through the canals to the port, from where
we'll continue to the south Caribbean coast, area of Cahuita and
Gandoca-Manzanillo National Parks, stopping to have lunch on the
way. Lodging at selected hotel in Punta Uva.
6th
DAY: A DAY IN THE CARIBBEAN COAST:
Lodging at selected
hotel in Punta Uva.
OPTIONAL:
tour to the coral reefs in
Cahuita.
Snorkeling tour on the Cahuita coral reef, where you can admire
the wonderful submarine life in its natural habitat. Tour includes
transfer, snorkeling equipment and lunch.
7th DAY:
PUNTA UVA - SAN JOSÉ: A morning to enjoy the golden beach of Punta Uva
or the swimming pool of the hotel. In the afternoon, transfer to San
José. Lodging at a selected hotel.
8th
DAY: SAN JOSÉ- AIRPORT A morning for shopping and transfer
to the airport 3 hours before departure flight time. The passengers
will be informed about the schedule.

program includes all the transfers from hotel to hotel.
